Yes that is Pari, France  (not Paris, Ontario, Canada).  

So many things happened so very quickly after attending that eye opening and life changing workshop in Victoria B.C. (july 08).  After much encouragement from those that are close to me I embarked to continue the mentoring program set out by Scott Robert Lim (for those who don’t know him…. simply,  the best Contemporary Wedding Photographer in the U.S. and amongst the best of photographers in the world.  Check out his website at scottrobertgallery.com).  Paris was Scott’s next stop and I was privileged to be among other emerging photographers from around the world who joined him.  On returning home, I was asked what was the best of all I experienced while in Paris.  My reply was quickly the relationships that we nurtured and built amongst the group that was there.  Some were familiar faces from the Victoria workshop but many were new, but amongst us all, was a deep bond secured by the love for photography and the thirst to get better.   Thanks Scott for all you give through your lessons, your passion for photography and the family you made us a part of.  Other highlights include:

• seeing my IE friends (Gurm, Amber, Jenna, Chantail – love you guys)
• witnessing Scott in action at his e session.  Dude, you are amazing to watch at work.  You are a true master at your craft.  Watching you mould that couple to your vision for their engagement shoot was simply awe inspiring!
• meeting Bandele.  After stocking his site and blog for sometime it was great getting to know him.  Bandele, stay away from those fortune tellers now!  ….do you have a mother?
• Parisian women.  So many beautiful women.  So much styling going on over there!
• Notre Dame Cathedral.  There are so many awesome sights to behold in that city but there was something endearing when we turned the corner that Saturday afternoon and boom there it was.
